Basically, what I wanted to do is to connect 2 ip cameras and 1 of this readers in some office, like a minimum security pack. Everything connected to the NVR, and with this NVR send one single cable to the main network switch. In order to lay only 1 UTP cable.
The switch is linked to a computer in which the fingerprint reader software is installed, and i would like to gather the informatión of the reader with this (Knowing that the reader uses TCP/IP communication) at the same time that the video footage is recorded on the NVR.
Kinda hoping for the NVR to work as a swtich right?, well that´s it.
