In summary, I should be able to adjust the IP cameras from within the NVR POE software. If that's not possible then the software engineers need to work on that and then IP cameras would be user friendly. This puzzles me that I can't adjust my IP cameras from the NVR. Sure there are some adjustments from the NVR but I can't turn on the Motion Detect on the cameras themselves from within the NVR. Yes you gave me a lot of solutions but I don't know the minute details of what to do. Plus Edge needs a plugin update, chnage my NIC address, etc. And I don't dare mess with the cameras cause I may not get them back to working order. I remember 3 years ago I spent a lot of time to get them up.
If I hook one camera straight to the router, will I be able to see and adjust the IP cam on my computer with the IP tool? Lets stick with one camera plugged into the router if that is easier.
Thanks
