Hi guys,

Hi guys,
Thank you for your quick response. Happy to have the file but unfortunately the update is failing.
I have sent the Serial Number to the Manufacturer to obtain the correct file. It may well be a different version board.
This incident has since been resolved. The guy really thought my fence was garbage, but it wasn’t meant to be. But he returned the fence and all is okay. The point is though, the incident took place a month prior to me finding out the fence was gone. Not remembering if I was the one who moved it, I went back in time and quickly found the day and time when it disappeared. I wasn’t sure I’d even still have the footage. D1 @ 30fps can reduce your archiving time. However, I know generally, I get 40 days out of my 1TB drive, with scheduling set to motion detect for my 8 cameras. Happily, the footage was still there to solve the case! LOL! This is three different shots to help make my point and prove what happened. There’s nothing to say at that point- cameras don’t lie. Like I said, it’s all fine now. But landscapers beware- some of us are watching. The quality from the ultimate mini continues to impress me.
Thanks Jose! Standing by.

I have created a ticket and sent you a link for firmware. Please keep in mind that firmware requests are made via email to prevent users from uploading the incorrect firmware and causing a device to become inoperable.
Thank you Jose. I did get the ticket/email/firmware and did apply it successfully. The only difference I can see is that the build date is just less than two months from the initial date which is fine.
The reason I'm working on this, and starting with the firmware, is because we have a single 4K camera connected via ethernet to this NVR connected to a large 4K LCD display via HDMI. The goal is to have a constant 4K image on the display all the time. The camera is capturing a very busy scene with lots of movement of water and other elements. Problem is, not long into standing this up, the display goes blank/off. The hope is that the latest firmware fixes this and if not, perhaps there are Encode settings (FPS, Bit rate type, bit rate) that can be adjusted if load on the NVR is too high. We are expecting the display to show a constant 4K image from the camera. This NVR is doing nothing else but helping the camera talk to the display and providing PoE. There's no recording, no other cameras, no network connection.
You guys have been super helpful. Any further insight, suggestions or recommendations would be helpful.

Let us know if you run into anything. Be Well and I am pleased I was able to provide you with the correct firmware.
The NVR-ELCE-16-POE16-HD stopped working, it does not boot up and no picture(black screen).
Any ideas what is going on?

Good day,
I have a single 4K capable, 12MP, 5mm lens, ONVIF, network bullet security camera connected to an 8 channel, 4K, 8 - 12MP Ultra High Definition PoE, No Hard Drive NVR
which is connected to a 55" large 4K display. All we need is a clear, clean, crisp live 4K feed on the TV of what the camera sees. Plug it all in, power it on and it works. The problem occurs about 10 - 15 seconds after powering on the NVR. Initially, the picture on the screen is crystal clear but then it goes black, comes back on, goes black again, comes back on and when it does this a couple times and you look, the resolution has clearly stepped down from Ultra High Def to what looks like 720p.
Poking around with the encode settings, particularly when trying to change the H.264 mode, the bitrate and other settings - when saved - they do not stick. Our guess is that even though this NVR can support 8 cameras that even with one, it's being overpowered and as a result is stepping down the output to the large screen.
Any thoughts from anyone?

I connected directly to the camera and noticed that it was setup for tri-stream. I understand now that the NVR is usually there to record and so that the recording has the highest possible picture quality, the NVR can step-down the live feed to a second and third stream of lower quality to achieve this. I have changed the setting on the camera to a single stream I think this may be the fix.
As a further update guys, I have been tinkering with the settings on both the camera and the NVR in an attempt to get the best picture quality before the display goes blank and never recovers. Seems like any reasonable setting at the highest resolution 3840 x 2160 falls over. I've dropped framerate and bitrate. 🙁
I have a customer with an 8 port Sibell NVR with 6 2MP cameras. 4 cameras inside the office and 2 outside. They wanted to turn on the push notification and all cameras are sending out the push on motion detection. The problem is the They only want push on the inside cameras because there is to much motion outside and they get to many notifacation for the outside 2. Can you set up so only certain cameras will do push and turn it off on the others?

Did you ever find a solution to this ? Trying to get the preview channel myself with VLC. Thanks.
Mr Smith,
This post is 4 years old. The firmware has changed drastically. Please open a new topic that includes the Make. Model and Firmware on your unit so we can assist you.
Please post the Model number of the recorder and its firmware.
NVR-SB16ME Firmware 1.1.0.0R3.B170608S
You can edit this within the Sibell Mobile app itself. Go to the "Guy" icon and select "Push Setting" after this Select the recorder ">" and turn on the "Device Notification Function". Here in this menu, you will see all of the triggers and what cameras to accept alerts from. For example, if you want push notifications based on motion select the "motion" section and select "Open All" a new window should pop up and give you the ability to select which cameras you want after this do not forget to press on the save icon that is located on the top right corner.
I am trying to add this camera to my zoneminder system but cannot find an appropriate setup documented anywhere. I am wondering if anyone has configured it to work in Zoneminder. Among the parameters are Remote Host Path (for mpeg) or RTSV configs. It would be good to know the different paths associated with the main and sub-streams. Any guidance would be appreciated! I really like this camera and it would be a very cost-effective solution through our school campus if I can get it working on this system.
Hello,
Please try the RTSP method for connection.
Synthax:
rtsp://<username>:<password>@<ip>:<port>/cam/realmonitor?channel=<ChannelNo>&subtype=<typeNo>
username = admin (default)
password = admin (default)
ip = ip of the camera
port = onvif port 554 (default)
ChannelNo = channel 1 for camera
typeNo = 0 for Main Stream, 1 for Sub Stream
authentication = Basic64
If the camera is not using the default username and password be sure to encode your credentials.
example:
admin:admin = YWRtaW46YWRtaW4NCg==

Dear all.
Me and my brother migrating from a zoneminder setup, to proper NVR board setup, with dahua 2,3 & 4 Mpiix CCTV camers.
By brother ordered this board on aliexpress
But actually received a much newer and better 24ch@1080p / (8ch@4k) noname Chinese NVR board. we have not been able to identify the board model etc.
It works well and has all the standard NVR features we need, for instance an event-server interface which is needed.
The only thing it does not seem to offer is proper pre-recording.
In my opinion, 5-10sec pre-recoarding on the event is absolutely necessary, because any event / person detected will be ½ way through the frame when the video starts, if the pre-recoarding is not enabled. The first part of the frame, the person has not seen the cctv and are not aware of the recording, and typically looks around etc. This first important half of the event is missing without pre-recording!
Can anyone suggest a better or different NVR board that offers the same standard features together with event-server and proper pre-recording, in the aprox. same price range and Channel size
My dahua cameras supports the pre-recording on the camera firmware, but unless its supported on the NVR side, it does not work.
I hope you can help ;O)
