Hello, the nvr will not find that camera. You will have to manually add it under remote device. Before you do you need to give it an IP address to work on the NVR switch of 10.1.1.X.

If there is a short or a circuit on one of the terminals goes bad you will get a LED that is not lit. Otherwise like Daniel said all should be on constantly.
