I also connected a Sibell TVIOB SB1IRE and it is B&W as well
Regarding connecting two wires together on the HD-CVI camera,, there are no wires other then the power and the BNC
Correction, The Sibell is now in color. For some reason the IR was on, Just need help on the other camera
