NWulf on 64 Channel NVR - Compatibility

Currently we strictly use the Axis Camera Station for all of our camera recordings. The drawback to this is we are limited to only Axis cameras if we need the video to be recorded.

We are going to be adding more IP cameras to our system and I wanted to explore alternatives to the Axis software. Since we use cameras from SCK for other projects, I noticed you have NVR options...specifically the 64 channel.

I've got a few questions.

1) How simple is the client software. Can it be setup where one user can only have live view with certain cameras). Can it be setup where a user can have live view with certain cameras and have the ability to review recordings for those cameras.

2) We have several different models of Axis cameras (all ONVIF). Some match to the list you have supplied on your site. Some we have are not on the list but are the same series...will this work? For instance, we have an M1054 and your list has M1014.

3) We have several M3007 (360 degree) and you have a M3005-V. Will ours work? Also, how does the software hand these 360 degree views? Currently, it is a "fish-eye" view when we view in in Axis Camera Station but once you click/zoom into an area it adjusts the view so that it looks viewable.

4) Our 6034-E camera can be controlled from a Axis joystick. Will the joystick still work. Potentially, this same joystick may control other PTZ cameras on the network.

5) We have one camera that is not an IP camera that connects to a M7104 (video encoder) so that it can be recorded. Your list has M7001 which is discontinues. Will ours work?

I did read a post from the other day about an Axis camera and NVR so it looks promising.

Nick
