Jose Malave on How to Attach a MIC to an IPPTZ

Items needed

1x BALUN-P (comes in pairs)

1x RCA-M-BNC-F (comes in single units)

1. Identify the conductors ( Red = Audio Out , White=Audio IN , Black = Audio GND)

2. Connect the GND to the (-) of the Balun P and the (+)

3. Add the RCA Adapter to the Balun

Then attach the MIC to the RCA side and power the mic. 

Move to the IPPTZ's Web UI and go to Encode, ensure that the Audio is enabled. You should now hear audio. For remote viewing from a phone ensure that the substreams audio are enabled within the same menu.
