We have a NVR in a remote, isolated place that has been in place for months recording anything that moves! It has worked very well, and done it's job over the last few months. We have discovered some "mischief" that took place over the winter and the powers that be now want to review some of the video from this location.
It is not preferable to have these people sitting in a little closet looking at a monitor connected to the NVR (NVR-ELE8M-P4K). I would like to download blocks of video from a couple of different camera's so that they can view it somewhere much more comfortable.
What is the best way to proceed? Would an external HDD work? If so, what would they need to view whatever file(s) are copied?
Is it possible to hook a drive up via USB and execute the transfer from the user interface on the NVR?
Please advise...
Thanks!
