trieditdidntwork on Surveillance video on Dish Net

One of your responses about adding a camera to Dish net was close to my problem, but not close enough to make it work. I have several Surveillance video cameras. I bought several Blonder-Tongue video modulators, along with a combiner. I ran a RG-6 cable to my house from the combiner output, and split the signal to both television sets. Both TVs can pick up any channel using antenna input. I am currently using channel 9, 11, 13, 25, and 71. These same channels are not in use on my Dish channel lineup. I want to be able to view these channels on my Dish DVR, rather than having to change to the TV antenna in, then change back to Dish DVR. I have the Dish Hopper with sling (hprslng), Joey2.0, and HT1100. The HT1100 allows me to pick up local channels that Dish does not carry. It is a small unit that plugs into the DVR via USB, and all works fine. I tried adding a splitter, then a Diplexer to add the Surveillance video feed to the antenna cable, but the Dish will not pick them up. I tried adding the diplexer just before the DVR on the SAT line, and the Dish still works OK but still will not pick up my Surveillance video cameras. So I bought some Blonder-Tongue agile video modulators, but it is the same story. Am I doing something incorrectly, or will the DVR simply not pick up the signals? I have several more modulators, so changing to different channels if need be is not a problem.
