Jim Walters on Two camera screen aulternating each for 5 seconds each

My customer has two CVI cameras on his system and wants to see one of them for 5 seconds and then the other for 5 seconds, and then return to the 1st camera.  I am able to make this happen but the DVR insert a view of both cameras into the sequence. How do I eliminate the double picture view
