Dan Millard on Pre-sales questions regarding 4k NVR

Lets see if I can help with a few of these,

1. We use Western Digital "Purple" and really only recommend these drives as they are built for surveillance and can handle the unique performance requirements of surveillance systems.  The red drives are great but they just dont tend to last and can have conflicting issues with the recorders.
2.  This is just for playback purposes and should not effect the alarm settings.
3. The camera will not be able to dewarp on the 8ch or if it does it will likely lag tremendously due to the workload being placed on the processor.  So it recommended not to use the dewarp feature unless its with the larger units.
4. There is no spoon 😛
