I recently purchased a Zosi 4 Ch NVR with 10" screen. The system is all wireless and works great. However, the system sits on my end table and there is no Ethernet cable available to get internet to it.
I purchased Wifi Bridge (Vonets VAP11G-300). The Wifi bridge was working flawlessly but when i wanted to view my cameras remotely through the app it was VERY SLOW and useless. I recently tried to reset the Vonets thinking this was the problem, did not change any settings, however now i have other issues.
The Vonets will connect to my wifi router until i plug the network cable into the NVR, it will then drop the connection and hunt for a signal forever. I also tried leaving the network cable disconnected and connect to it via the hotspot on my phone, same problem. It will work for a second then drop the signal and hunt for my router connection, continuous loop. Once my phone disconnects it continues to blink rappidly (blue) and connects to my router, then repeat. Its like anytime i try to use and pull data it drops the signal.
This is not even the problem i was trying to originally solve. I wanted to somehow use port forwarding or a VPN to get to my cameras vs the P2P cloud. I am not familar with this at all but i cannot continue to solve this problem until i solve why the bridge doesn't stay connected when i try to pull data.
Any help is appreciated, i am new to the forum.
